Directors

Charl Stander

Charl was admitted as an attorney in 1984 and holds B.Juris; LLB and LLM degrees. He is also an admitted conveyancer and is the head of our Estates, Estate Planning and Commercial Departments.

Charles Dell

Charles was admitted as an attorney in 1990 and holds a B.PROC as well as an A.DIP in LABOUR LAW. He is an admitted Conveyancer and Notary Public. Charles is also a part time Senior Commissioner at the CCMA. He is the head of our Labour and Conveyancing Department.

Ockie van Schalkwyk

Ockie was admitted in 1990 and holds both a BA and B.PROC degree. He is head of the firms Family Law department.

 

Duncan Murray

Duncan was admitted as an attorney in 2012 and holds both a B.COM LAW and LLB, He is the firms managing director and oversees the day to day running of the firm whilst also specialising in correspondent work, particularly in the Supreme Court of Appeal and the High Court.

Uyelta Nel-Marais

Uyleta was admitted as an attorney in 2016 and holds an LLB degree. She is also an admitted conveyancer and Notary Public. She specialises in deceased estates as well as conveyancing.

 

Jannie Keyl

Jannie was admitted as an attorney in 2017 and holds an LLB degree. He specialises in Labour Law and General Civil Litigation.

 

Consultant

Peter Yazbek

After serving 5 years of articles, Peter was admitted as an Attorney in 1973. He practised and managed the firm until 2020 and remains on as a consultant. He is the head of the firms High Court and Appeals Department.

Professional Assistants

Herklaas Venter

Herklaas was admitted as an attorney in 1998. He practised as both a state prosecutor as well as a private defence attorney for a number of years before joining our firm. He is the head of our Criminal Law Department

Sandra van Wyck

After completing her articles and being admitted as an attorney elsewhere, Sandra joined the firm in 2010. She is the firms in house cost consultant and has over 12 years experience in the drafting and presenting of bills of costs in all court divisions.

Elsie Louw

Elsie completed her articles at Lovius Block and was appointed as an attorney in 2016. She specialises in Labour Law and General Civil Litigation.

Rochelle da Silva

After completing her articles at the firm, Rochelle was admitted as an attorney in 2022. Later that same year she was admitted as a Conveyancer and Notary Public. Rochelle specialises in criminal law as well as civil litigation.

The firm’s professionals are assisted by 23 administrative and cleaning staff to ensure that expert advice and services are rendered timeously and efficiently.
